Primal Survival - Full Day

Are you ready to get wild? Our Primal survival course teaches students how to use the land to build the things they need in order to thrive! During this course students will learn how to use basic items to create fire, build shelters, and find food. We will be diving into the skills our ancestors used to thrive and find confidence in the wild! Are You Ready?

Ever wonder what that plant's name is, or if those berries are edible? Join us for a morning walk of wild edible plants! Learn to identify some of the "common weeds" and how to use them. Along the walk instructors will point out different local plants, trees, shrubs, and flowers. Bring a notepad and camera to record the plants and their uses as intructors talk about how each plant can be used and how to identify them!

How Do You Make A Hunting Tool With Basic Gear? The answer is a bundle bow! In this class students will learn how to make a functional bow from sticks! We will explore different string options and what to use. Along with making a bow students will learn how to make a cherokee 2 fletch arrow using local materials. The end of class will be some time on the range practicing on wild stuffed animals!
